🔥 Candle Care:

A sacred flame deserves sacred care. 

At Flickering Flame Essence, every candle is hand-poured with intention and magic. To ensure a safe, long-lasting burn and the full enchantment of your candle, please follow these care tips:

 

🕯️ Before You Burn

       ✨ Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. This helps prevent soot and gives a cleaner flame.                                                 

       ✨ Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable.

       ✨ Allow your candle to reach room temperature before lighting — especially after delivery.

 

🕯️During the Burn

        ✨ Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges during the first burn to prevent tunneling.

        ✨ Limit each burn to 3-4 hours for best results. 

        ✨ Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep the flame within sight and away from pets and children. 

        ✨ For candles topped with botanicals, crystals, or mica: keep an eye on the flame and trim away any large pieces near the wick if needed to prevent excess flame. 

 

🕯️After you Burn 

        ✨ Extinguish your candle by gently blowing it out or using a snuffer to reduce smoke. 

        ✨ Let the wax cool completely before touching or moving the jar. 

        ✨ Re-center the wick if needed while the wax is soft. 

        ✨ Store your candle away from direct sunlight and heat to protect its scent and color. 

        ✨ Stop burning when about 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.
